Windows Anytime Upgrade lets you upgrade electronically to Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate.

From here, you can decide which version of Windows 7 to which you'd like to upgrade.

Because of the lack of Aero Glass, taskbar previews are in list form only.

There's no way to personalize the Windows 7 Starter desktop as you can in other Windows 7 versions.

Windows Explorer.

Jump Lists work as they do in other Windows 7 versions, but are less attractive looking.

Windows Media Player.
